Brenda O, realized the need for her gift, recognized her purpose, and acknowledgedthat it was indeed a ministry. Her testimony detects the prices she has paid for a gift that was birthed in her long before she developed a relationship with the Lord. Upon building that relationship Brenda O is requested often to speak at church functions, corporations, youth rallies, organizations, women retreats, parties, conferences and the like. The Lord is preparing her to reach the Body of Christ as well as the secular audiences to share her testimony through laughter that someone being healed.
She has shared stages with some of the most well know Gospel Artists and Speakers in the Industry as well as secular entertainers, such as: Israel, Dottie Peoples, Vicki Winans, Dr Bobby Jones, Dr. Claudia Copeland, Renita Weems, Michelle McKinney Hammond, Kirk Whalum, Percy Bady, David Hollister, Ziggy, Jonathan Nelson, Martha Munizzi, Joe Pace, Jessica Greene, Lisa McClendon, Skekinah Glory Ministries, Lil Rock, Jonathan Nelson and Purpose, Virtue, Cheryl Martin, and list goes on and on. When talk shows were the talk of daytime television, she appeared on every show be funny and full of energy. Two seasons of ComicView adding an avenue to Bless all folk landed her the Blessing with great travel experiences abroad and all over the U.S. She has traveled to Korean and Japan to entertain the troops, through-out every branch of the military.
Television appearances on the Word Network and on “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, this coming spring of 2008 will be a reflection of where the Lord is taking her.
April of 2007 she and two other audience members was selected to warm up the audience at “The Oprah Show” and Ms. O took the stage and gave a performance that took some by surprise. Recently selected by Readers Digest, as one of the top 5 finalists for “The Reader’s Digest Funniest Person of 2007”, having appeared on The Bobby Jones Gospel Show, along with being one of the 10 finalists of The Heavy Hitters Christian Comedy Competition 2008, she continues to rise with the Gift of Exhortation. Featured in Gospel Today Magazine as one of the top 5 Christian Comedians she honors God’s people and remains humble about her past and future successes.
One of her more popular jokes is, she ayed, and asked to, “God to widen her territory…..and she gained twenty five more pounds”.
